This article contextualizes glossolalia and xenolalia within Mocombe’s consciousness field theory. The work seeks to outline the origins of the two religious phenomena as revealed in Pentecostal and charismatic Catholic traditions in particular within consciousness field theory thereby giving a scientific, psychological, and sociological justification for them. The work posits that both phenomena within Mocombe’s consciousness field theory are the product of : 1) the frequency wavelength of a simultaneous existing version of the utterer in a different consciousness field in the multiverse; 2) the frequency wavelength of a deceased person or ancestor from the absolute vacuum as found in spiritual embodiment in Haitian Vodou; and/or 3) the frequency wavelength of a reincarnated version of the utterer from a different consciousness field they may have experienced in a past life. Both phenomena (glossolalia and xenolalia) would occur in religious ecstasy, singing, and dancing when the brain is operating in theta and delta brainwave synchronization.
